Premier Fives Soccer has, unfortunately, been forced to stop its Ifield League on Tuesday due to outside pressures beyond our control. The final night of football will be 24/02/09. Thank you all. It's the end of an era.

NOTICE TO ALL TEAMS. Please stay off the pitches until 6.30 pm as other people have booked the pitches until then.

We need to remind you that rule 3.1 requires payment to be made before playing. Some teams have begun to pay after their games, which causes logistical problems.

Sliding Tackles

We need to clarify the position re charging and sliding tackles, particularly with regard to goalkeepers. Sliding Tackles are not allowed. If a goalkeeper is not endangering other players it is unlikely he will be punished. If contact is made or 2 feet are used then the offence will be punished.

Christmas Holidays

There will be no football on Tues 23/12/08 and Tues 30/12/08.

We will restart the league and round 2 of the cup on 06/01/08

The New League starts on 11/11/08 and fixtures will be posted on a 4 week cycle. Two Divisions of 7 teams and a third of 8 teams 

The Winter cup will start on 09/12/08 and we plan to have round 2 on 06/01/09, Round 3 on 03/02/09 and the final to be held on 10/02/09.

The cost of playing still remains £25. Planned friendlies will cost £25 and ad hoc friendlies will cost £20.
